It’s Yogi Berra and Jorge Posada learning to catch, Whitey Ford and Mo perfecting new out pitches, Sparky Lyle and Goose Gossage revolutionizing bullpen usage, Miller Huggins and Joe Torre entrusted by new ownership mindset, big-game emergence by Herb Pennock and Andy Pettitte, and a never-ending parade of megastars from Babe Ruth to Lou Gehrig to Joe DiMaggio to Mickey Mantle to Don Mattingly to Aaron Judge.

The author of number one bestseller Diamonds from the Dugout focuses specifically on all of their most pivotal moments, based on many hours of research inside the rich Hall of Fame library and on interviews with Yankee personnel over the years.
