He is the author of Pressure Basketball (Prentice Hall, 1963). Dr. Neal Vahle received his doctorate from Georgetown University. He is the author of seven books, including, with Buddy Bell, Smart Baseball: How Professionals Play the Mental Game, (St. Martin’s Press, 2005). He has served as a journal and magazine editor, and as publishing director of Heldref Publications in Washington, DC.
